Introducing my work - the mask story is "people start school and celebrate the younger generation during National Day." The main character is the younger generation, and I made masks to show these young people.

Reflections - What are breakthrough moments and how do they come about?

I found that the news talked about how to celebrate traditional festivals in a covid-19 environment, and I should remake a story with words because English is not my native language. I tried to circle the words I could use and chose some words that could form sentences.

What's going well, what's not going well, why?

I'm making masks that go well because I've done some collages before. The hardest thing is to fix the mask on my head, because spring always falls.

How do I feel about it?

I tried to do some 3D collages on my mask and I thought the 3D results were really good, with tattoos under the nose of the mask and 3D paper structure under the eyes. Mask angles through the contours of the mask, they all make my work more 3D.
